PLEASE READ EVERYTHING BEFORE BOOKING.
How do I book? What is required to secure my session? Is the full payment required immediately?
-In the event that the deposit is not paid your slot will not be held.
-There is a 30% deposit to secure the time and date of your session. This includes all sessions EXCEPT weddings. Your deposit is also INCLUDED into your final session total.
-Deposits are a non-refundable one-time payment that is used as a booking and cancellation fee.
What if I want to book a date that is not open yet?
-If you would like to book a session for a date that is NOT available or open yet, please contact me! This is VERY common for events and wedding sessions.
When is the final payment due?
-Final payments are due no later than 5:00pm the DAY BEFORE your scheduled session.
Cancellations:
- If you fail to pay by required time, this will result in a non-refunded session cancellation.
-If your session is canceled due to a non-payment, you will be notified via email.
-In the event a client cancels a session, the client will not be refunded.
Can I reschedule a session if I cancel?
-You may reschedule, but there will be a $75 rescheduling fee.
-If you reschedule your session less than 24 hours of your appointment there will be a $100 fee.
What if I don't like my photos? Do I get a free session or a refund?
-In the event that you do not like your photos, you will NOT be reimbursed a session or your session cost.
-In the event the photographers are not satisfied with the photos from the session, you will be reimbursed the same session that was booked. This EXCLUDES events.
How long does it take to get my photos back?
-Session images are provided no longer than 2 weeks (14 days) after the session date. The session link will be provided via email.
-If you have a package that includes prints, the client has 2 weeks from the date that he/she receives the online portfolio to select and notify the Olivia B. team of the photos that he/she wants printed/selected. If the client does not use this time slot, the team will select photos for the client and the order will be processed.
-Photo prints (canvas prints, photo prints, books) take up to 3 weeks.
Do you have a set? Props? Can I bring props?
-This is NOT a set/prop based company. The extras and props that we offer will be listed during booking. This constantly changes.
-There are certain props that we will allow for you to bring. Please get a confirmation from us before booking or your scheduled appointment.
Will my photos be used on social media or any Olivia B. platform?
-The photographer may or may not use session photos on social media platforms and the company website. In the event that you do not want your photos used for these purposes, please notify the photographer before the session is completed.
What will happen if I am late? What will happen if the photographers are late?
-If you are late, this takes away from your session time and you will not be guaranteed any reimbursed time.
-In the event the photographer reimburses time or stays beyond the booked time, there will be a fee to gain access to the photos that were taken after your appointment time.
-If you are late more than 15 minutes with no notification to the photographer your session will be cancelled with no reimbursement.
-If your session is cancelled due to tardiness, you will be notified by the Olivia B. team via text and email.
-Please remember it is up to the photographers discretion if your reimbursed of any time that you have missed.
-In the event the Photographers are late, you will be reimbursed the amount of time that was missed.
Will confirmations and reminders be sent?
-Confirmation emails will be sent to you after booking. Please allow 1-2 business days.
-Confirmations will also be sent any time a payment is made. Please allow 1-2 business days.
-Please be sure to check your email at least once a week. Confirmations will be sent at least 2-3 times before your appointment.
-PLEASE treat the scheduled confirmations as a reminder.
-CONFIRM all sessions via email.
Is everything in my package guaranteed?
-Time promised in the package is guaranteed. Anything requested that exceeds package specifications during the session will be an extra fee. This fee would need to be no later than paid 24 hours after the session is completed.
-During the session you will hear an alarm go off. This is notification to the client as well as the photographers that there are 30 minutes remaining in the session. Again, time requested that exceeds package specifications during the session will be extra. Extra charges MUST be paid no later than 24 hours after the session. In the event the extra fees are not paid, the client will not be allowed to book with the company anymore and photos will not be received.
-In the event the client brings more people to be photographed than allowed in the session, there will be an additional charge. Extra charges MUST be paid within 24 hours of the session. In the event the extra fees are not paid, the client will not be allowed to book with the company anymore and photos will not be received.
What happens in the event of inclement weather?
-If there is inclement weather the day of the session and the session needs to be rescheduled the photographer will notify you via text
-The session will be scheduled for the FIRST available slot that is open.
What if we have a government shutdown?
-If there is a government shutdown and the session cannot be completed, the client will be refunded in full. The refund will be provided AFTER an attempt to reschedule the session. If this isn’t possible or is not wanted by the client, then the client will receive a refund.
